Platform is a triangular project that combines modular electronic music, synthesized & analog guitar and digital imagery.
These three forms of aesthetic expression, with distinct structural elements, as they intersect together in their diversity, aim to open parallel dimensions towards reality, where past and future intertwine in ghost visions.
Platform seeks to, not to give the receiver an enlightened vision of its work, but instead to provide him enough clues to find the scents and senses among his own identity.
Rui Gato (elastic void, outersites, houselab) restructures percussion elements and synthesizes contemporary sounds, strengthening a body completed by a metamorphic guitar, interpreted by Nuno ClÃmaco Pinto, which by its malleable nature assumes a humanized dynamism, inhabiting the created spaces with a comforting liberty.
This project's plural dynamics seeks above all to look towards the interpreter's individual life experiences, restructuring them in global communion (so typical of a world co-inhabited by diversity), so that the result be once more offered to each and every one, and assimilated in its unicity. |
